La chirurgie orthognathique du futur

Abstract
Orthognathic surgery continues to evolve but still relies on a careful
aesthetic analysis on which depends the surgical indications. This will be
demonstrated with the example of four cases: an isolated maxillary surgery,
a mandibular surgery associated with an harmonization by chin-surgery, two
simultaneous maxilla-mandibular osteotomies (a Class II asymmetric and an
important Class III).
Résumé
La chirurgie orthognathique évolue mais repose toujours sur une analyse
esthétique soigneuse dont dépendent les indications chirurgicales.
La démonstration en sera faite avec l'exemple de quatre cas : une
chirurgie maxillaire isolée, une chirurgie mandibulaire associée
à une mentoplastie d'harmonisation, deux ostéotomies combinées
maxillo-mandibulaires (une asymétrie en classe II et une importante
classe III).
